This weekend I shot a wedding and an engagement session. Both were entirely awesome.
PLUS I Â got to try out my new tilt-shift lens we got in the mail last week — so that was fun too!
Stay tuned to the blog for a VERY exciting announcement following VERY shortly behind this post.
Reason #4892 why I love my job: I get to surround myself with people who are heart-burstingly happy-in-love.
Madison and Preston are the perfect example of two such people and I had a wonderful time with them at their engagement session this brisk December morning.
It brings me so much joy to see how happy you two make each other and I cannot express how excited I am for y’all’s wedding this June!
This is my dear friend Brittney.
We celebrated with her and her husband Joel at their wedding this December (blogpost to come, preview can be viewed here) so I’m terribly excited to finally be blogging a few photos from her North Texas Fair bridal session.
For those of you who know Brittney, you know that within that teeny, tiny body of hers is a whole lot of vibrant, vivacious, excited personality. If there was ever a bride who needed a vibrant, vivacious, exciting bridal session smack dab in the middle of a fair, I’d say that bride would be Brittney.
Sending my love to you and Joel in Alaska, Biddi!
Also blog-readers — be sure to check back on the blog later today for an exciting announcement from JZP :)))))
Hearing Theresa tell hers and Travis’ story, it all came about pretty simply.
One day waiting outside of a class at UNT she heard this guy playing guitar. She loves music and plays guitar herself, so she sat down beside him to listen. Before she knows it they’ve struck up a conversation and before parting ways Travis asks for her number, ya know, just in case they should ever want to play music together . . . On campus that same day a group was handing out plastic purple and white bracelets to students and randomly enough both Theresa and Travis separately ended up with one. And both of them kept those bracelets because it had been a noteworthy day.
It turns out they still wear those bracelets to this very day (and are in fact wearing them in these engagement photos) because after that day they were Theresa-and-Travis.
Theresa and Travis, I wish you both the happiest of engagements as you make your way toward your destination wedding later this year!
