blissfully engaged
blissfully engaged: lauren & phil, Grand Central Station + Brooklyn bridge engagement session
I try not to keep it a secret that I love to travel and shoot in new spaces and places. But even more that exploring New York City, I so enjoyed spending time with Lauren and Phil — two of the coolest, most-laid back people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They’re even surprisingly chill when it comes to braving the masses at Grand Central and dodging bikes on the Brooklyn Bridge, so lots of gold stars for these guys.
Enjoy a few of my favorites from Lauren and Phil’s NYC engagement session.
Patricia and Ben, on his family’s farm, in the prettiest summer sunshine Texas could possibly offer.

This particular session makes me thankful for:
couples who laugh together
Sunny days that aren’t too hot
empty downtown streets
Jen Rios Weddings for trusting me with this sweet couple of hers
Beauty and the Blush for highlighting Kimberly’s naturally gorgeous hair and face like POP BAM WOW
a pretty horse named, Dakota
and love.
Kimberly has long been involved in the world of equestrian competition and so it was an absolute must to include pretty little Dakota in some of their portraits as well!
This sweet baby foal wasn’t allowed out, but LOOK HOW CUTE!!
Kimberly and Travis, y’all are some kind of stunning together. September cannot get here fast enough!
Ashley, Austin and I met up a couple of weeks ago in the Dallas Arts District for their engagement session. It was my first time to meet Austin and it was quickly evident to my why Ashley had told me emphatically at our first meeting that, “Everyone loves Austin.” These two are ridiculously adorable together, Ashley is a total babe, and I am DIGGING the new walking bridge near the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge.
Enjoy a peek into some of my favorites from their session!
Ashley and Austin, I am SO PUMPED for your Watermark Community Church wedding next month. Until then, friends!
