My goal in photographing family sessions is to create images that capture what life in a family looks like at this particular season.
And for the Franklin family, life right now looks a lot like gladly running after a tiny, curly-haired three-year-old named Scarlett, doling out lots of hugs and enjoying this beautiful life, together.
Franklin family, it was an absolute pleasure walking the nature trails with you, getting a glimpse into your precious lives right now.
Katie and Matt love each other, their golden doodle named Dirk, and coffee.
So for these coffee-enthusiast’s one year anniversary photos we included all those things, naturally.
Kresges, I adore you both, this has been established, yes? Â Good. I wish you year after year after year of continued marital bliss as well as photos of the things dear to you. Also, thank you for allowing me to exploit your dog “drinking coffee” in this post. I seriously cannot get enough of that Dirk fellow.
X’s and O’s!
Words cannot express how much I love the Sewells. I started photographing Tiffany and Trevor with their engagement sessions (yes, two), bridal sessions (yes, two) and wedding day (just one) about three years ago. They are my people because they get as excited about photos as I do.
In December the Sewells were back in Texas visiting family for Christmas so of course we scheduled a photo session and (EEK!) I got to meet the newest member of their family — baby Bella! GOSHTHOSEDIMPLESKILLME. We started at a park, but the particularly frigid wind that morning eventually drove us to finish the shoot indoors at my favorite Denton restaurant, Loco Cafe. If you’re in Denton you absolutely HAVE to try out Loco — yummy breakfast, coffee and natural light.
Sewells, you’ve got one adorable baby girl on your hands and it’s so cool to see what great parents y’all make.
Until next time!
Here’s a short but sweet family blogpost of the Dennis’ for you to peruse on this fine Tuesday afternoon.
