This week may have started off stormy and overcast so I figured that’s all the more reason to post a sunny little engagement session from last month in Waco.

The beaming guy pictured here is Robert — he was James’ best man in our wedding and an all-around great guy. That gorgeous girl to the right? That right there is the girl who’s stolen his heart and is going to become his wife come September. James and I couldn’t be happier with this match and so enjoy each and every opportunity we’ve had to get to know Amber — ya know, at their proposal and then again at their engagement session.  Even though we’ve only met twice I already feel certain she’s sweet as can be!

They wanted to use coffee art for their save the dates which I thought was just THE most clever idea ever.

After coffee, we headed across the street to the Baylor University campus, where both Amber and Robert attended college and also where these two officially started dating.

I love, love, love when a session ends with the most perfect light and the most perfect closeness.

 High five and that’s a wrap.
