with this ring: jill & matt // dallas ritz carlton wedding
Jill and Matt’s Ritz Carlton wedding in Dallas this July was just a great day to be a part of. I love, love, love when I arrive to photograph a wedding and the eager anticipation and pure excitement for what is about to happen is practically palpable in the bridal suite. That’s what I experienced that afternoon when I was welcomed in by darling Jill, her sweet mother and all of her super-helpful bridesmaids.
After getting ready at the Ritz Carlton, the ladies headed on over to University Park United Methodist Church where the ceremony and pre-ceremony portraits would take place. Back at the hotel, James documented the guys prepping for the day’s festivities.
Post-ceremony celebrations are just the best.
After family portraits we headed back to the Ritz Carlton with the perfect amount of light and time for more portraits.
I need to take a moment to brag on Jill and Matt’s wedding planner, Pati. This was my second wedding to work with Pati and I have loved both experiences. She’s good at what she does, keeps things running smoothly and she’s super helpful/encouraging/and a joy to not only the bride and groom but to vendors as well. This is my endorsement of Perfectly Planned by Pati.
AND OH MY GOODNESS, Y’ALL — THE BAND. Inside Out is crazy-talented and so. much. fun. I cannot wait to shoot another wedding where they’re performing.
Jill and Matt, it was an absolute pleasure and honor to be your wedding photographers. Days like yours are our favorite because, while I know leading up to the wedding there was a lot of time/thought/energy  put into planning the dress, the table settings, and EVERYTHING else, by the time July 20th rolled around it was all about an uninhibited celebration of this beautiful marriage y’all entered into. I’m so happy for you two and thankful to have been a part.
Jill, again, these are so beautiful. I love keeping up with all of your great work. You really know how to capture all the little moments, and the big ones.
Mary! Thank you for your sweet comment! Your encouragement means a lot to me 🙂
