Welcome to a peek into Danielle and David’s engagement session.

These two were all giggles to start the shoot off. That excited energy is one of my favorite things about photographing an engaged couple — they are typically at their giddiest and giggliest state of being.

I met Danielle when we were both still in college at UNT, before she had met David and before I had any real inclination that I’d be a wedding photographer.  I started taking portraits for people here and there which eventually turned into weddings here and there and that is when Danielle told me right in my first year of wedding photography that I’d one day be her wedding photographer. There wasn’t any particular guy on the radar on that moment but she let me know right then and there that she believed in me. Warmed my newbie photographer heart.

So when I received an e-mail from Danielle years later with mention of this guy named David who had stolen her heart and a wedding in the near future the starting line was all, “I told you so . . .“

So getting to photograph these two in this sweet season of their engagement and knowing that in September I’ll be getting to photograph their sweet wedding day warms my photographer heart all over again.

So basically I think you”re gorgeous, Danielle. Just thought you should know.

You two. You two are so sweet together.
